Day Three

Day Three and 29 trips to the Porcelain Throne. Only 75 more trips and I will reach my destination. This is fun, I think? The plunge leaders forget to tell everyone to have a bowl of burnt almond fudge ice cream at night before going to bed. It doesn't help the goal of the plunge; but it sure improves your attitude as you go to sleep at night!

I am loving it!

not McDonalds--the pluge!!! I forgot how much I like doing this. It is alway nice to have an excuse to eat more vegetables and refuse the food that I know will make me more chubby. Here's a little tip-- Your body can only absorb 1 cup of water every 15 minutes. I find that If I don't guzzle my water all in one sitting I do much better. Keep going everyone!

The Results Are In!!

We Lost a Total of 32.5 Pounds!

We must pay tribute to Blair and Jim who boosted the average, but everyone did well and had a good loss--make that "a healthy loss."

Please share your observations of Plunge III. Easy? Difficult? Nasty? Was the schedule hard to keep? Did the exercise help? Did you find a new way to fix your food and still stay within the rules? Plunge IV: May 19-25

Happy Days are here again. Real food, my sticky oatmeal and scrambled eggs. What could be better than that. Having said that, we are on for the next Plunge. I need a better idea how to fix my Big Plate of Veggies. Any ideas out there. My idea of Veggies is salsa and dip. The administrators of this plunge tell me that is a no, no!
