We are not cheaters, liars or commitment-phobes. We prefer cookies but for seven days starting May 19, 2005, we will go without. We are here to complain, whine, encourage, tease, laugh and learn.

The End is Near

Only 72 hours left, but who is counting. Not the two of us. We love our Plunge!

Day Three

Day Three and 29 trips to the Porcelain Throne. Only 75 more trips and I will reach my destination. This is fun, I think? The plunge leaders forget to tell everyone to have a bowl of burnt almond fudge ice cream at night before going to bed. It doesn't help the goal of the plunge; but it sure improves your attitude as you go to sleep at night!

Long Live La Plunge!

I am loving it!

not McDonalds--the pluge!!! I forgot how much I like doing this. It is alway nice to have an excuse to eat more vegetables and refuse the food that I know will make me more chubby. Here's a little tip-- Your body can only absorb 1 cup of water every 15 minutes. I find that If I don't guzzle my water all in one sitting I do much better. Keep going everyone!

Ugh

Am I suppose to have a good attitude about this? I don't. So there. 6.5 days to go. I'll be clockwatching every second of Plunge IV.

Let the positive messages come from someone else. Maybe tomorrow will be better, don't know, but thanks for listening to me whine.

Got that Veggie Spirit?

Here we go again! (in dark leafy green)

We are taking the Plunge for seven more days, beginning Thursday, May 19. We're in this together, right? So, share your thoughts, discoveries, complaints and experiences, and blog away!

I am in...

I am very ready to begin the plunge--especially after my trip to Hawaii-
Bring it on!

The Results Are In!!

We Lost a Total of 32.5 Pounds!

We must pay tribute to Blair and Jim who boosted the average, but everyone did well and had a good loss--make that "a healthy loss."

Please share your observations of Plunge III. Easy? Difficult? Nasty? Was the schedule hard to keep? Did the exercise help? Did you find a new way to fix your food and still stay within the rules? If you could change anything, what would it be? If you are continuing to do Plunge "behavior" after the Plunge, what is it? How would you rate your experience? Jump in here and give us your thoughts!

Way to go, people!

Plunge IV: May 19-25

Happy Days are here again. Real food, my sticky oatmeal and scrambled eggs. What could be better than that. Having said that, we are on for the next Plunge. I need a better idea how to fix my Big Plate of Veggies. Any ideas out there. My idea of Veggies is salsa and dip. The administrators of this plunge tell me that is a no, no!
